What it is.
A marketing or content website built on Astro. Pages are rendered as static HTML at build time. Interactive components only load where they are actually needed. The result is a site that loads quickly, ranks well, and stays cheap to host.
You get a clean codebase, a clear content model, and full ownership of the deployment. No proprietary builders, no platform lock in, and no licence fees for the privilege of editing your own copy.
Astro is not a side capability here or a framework we picked up for one project. It is the default for every build we take on, and every site in our work archive runs on it, from a nationwide commercial property search to an industrial ecommerce catalogue to a doctor-led clinic. - How many sites have you actually built on Astro?
- Every one. All nine projects in our work archive are Astro builds, spanning commercial property search, industrial ecommerce, self-storage, healthcare clinics, cyber security and SaaS. They are all live and all linked from our work page, so you can check the claim rather than take it.
- Do I need to understand Astro to work with you?
- No. Plenty of clients arrive having heard the name and knowing only that it is supposed to be fast, which is the right amount to know. What matters on your side is what the site has to do; the framework is our problem. We will explain any decision that affects how you run the site day to day.
- Why Astro and not WordPress or Webflow?
- Astro ships static HTML and almost no JavaScript by default. The site is faster, more secure, and cheaper to host. You also keep full control of the code.
- Can Astro handle dynamic content?
- Yes. Astro supports server rendering, API integrations, and interactive islands where they are needed. Blogs, forms, and dashboards are all fine.
- Will my existing content come across?
- Yes. We migrate pages, posts, and media from your current platform and clean them up on the way through.
- Who hosts the finished site?
- You do. We deploy to your account on Netlify, Vercel, or Cloudflare and hand over full ownership at launch.
- Can my team edit content after launch?
- Yes. Content lives in MDX or a small CMS of your choice. We set the editing workflow up with you.
- How long does a build take?
- A few days for a focused pilot. A few days to three or four weeks for a full marketing site, depending on scope.
